We collect only the data needed to run your studies: your name, email, phone, country and timezone; the guardian's details if the student is a minor; your placement-test result; records of lessons, attendance, homework, marks and fees; messages exchanged inside the platform; and the recordings of lessons you attended.
Data is used to deliver your studies: establishing your level, matching your teacher, scheduling your lessons in your own timezone, and handling homework, reports, fees and reminders. We never sell or rent it, and we never use it for third-party advertising. Automated processing — generating your monthly report — never carries your data to any other party.
A minor's account is created with their guardian's consent and linked to the guardian's own account. Teacher–student conversations are logged and visible to the guardian and to the centre's administration, as are lesson recordings — this is not an optional setting but a safeguarding requirement we do not waive on request.
We share the minimum necessary data with the providers the platform runs on: hosting, email and messaging delivery, and payment processing. Each is contractually restricted to using that data solely to provide their service to us. We share nothing with advertisers, and nothing with any other centre or educational body.
We retain your data for as long as you study with us. After you stop, it stays available for export for ninety days — your record, your marks and your certificates — then is deleted or anonymised, unless a specific financial record must be kept longer by law.
You may access, correct, export and delete your data — and your child's, if you are their guardian. The centre is the controller of that data; there is no other party between you and us. To exercise any of these rights, write to the address published on our contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
The app stores your session token in the operating system's secure store (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android), never in a plain file. If you enable notifications we keep your device token in order to send them; it is deleted when you sign out or uninstall. The app also keeps a copy of the screens you opened — schedule, homework, reports — on your device so you can read them without a network; those copies are erased on sign-out and are never sent anywhere. Exam material is never stored on the device. Camera, microphone and photo permissions are requested at the moment they are used, not at install, and declining them does not block the rest of the app. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
